Poco C50 budget smartphone with 5000 mAh battery launched in India

Poco today announced its new budget smartphone Poco C50 in the Indian market. The handset is powered by a MediaTek Helio A22 SoC. It also comes with a waterdrop display and a 5,000mAh battery. In addition, the smartphone features an 8MP dual AI camera with support for 1080p @ 30fps video recording. Additionally, the phone runs on Android 12 Go Edition.

The new Poco C50 is priced in India at Rs 6,499 for the base model with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. Priced at Rs 7,299, the 3GB with 32GB variant is available. For a limited time only, Poco is selling the new gadget at Rs 6,249 and Rs 6,999 for the 2GB and 3GB RAM versions respectively. The device will be available in Country Green and Royal Blue colors. The sale will start on January 10 and is currently available on Flipkart.

Poco C50 specifications

The Poco C50 features a 6.52-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1600×700 pixels. The screen has a touch sampling rate of 120 Hz. The gadget runs on Android 12 (Go Edition). The new Poco smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio A22 SoC and up to 3GB of LPDDR4X RAM. It comes with 32GB of internal storage and a microSD card can be inserted into a dedicated slot to increase the storage capacity up to 512GB. The phone has a ‘premium leather’ finish on the rear panel that gives it a sophisticated look and smudge-free grip. Thanks to its waterproof and dustproof finish, the Poco C50 will have your back in any outdoor activity.

The Poco C50 has an AI-enabled dual rear camera system that includes an 8-megapixel primary sensor. There is a 5-megapixel sensor on the front of the device for selfies and video calls. With a resolution of 1080p @ 30fps, the smartphone also provides a perfect video experience.

Poco C50 has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11/b/g/n, Bluetooth v5, GPS/A-GPS, Glonass, Beidou, micro-USB port and 3.5mm audio jack as connectivity options. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and an accelerometer for authentication.
